Magazine Publishers Association (MPA) presents the second annual Find Yourself in Magazines Insight Conference.

Scheduled speakers include hiring directors, publishers, editors-in-chief, and other leaders from the most recognizable magazine publishing companies, including Hearst Magazines, Condé Nast, Time Inc., and Meredith Publishing.

Suggested attendees:

• Entry-level and mid-career professionals interested in careers at existing magazines
• Entrepreneurs who want to start successful print or digital magazines

The Center for Black Literature at Medgar Evers College presents the Ninth National Black Writers Conference, featuring panel discussions, "talkshops" with established writers, and awards presentations. Susan L. Taylor is the honorary chair of the event.
