National Black Writers Conference

The Center for Black Literature at Medgar Evers College presents the Ninth National Black Writers Conference, featuring panel discussions, "talkshops" with established writers, and awards presentations. Susan L. Taylor is the honorary chair of the event.

Amiri Baraka, Terri McMillan, Asha Bandele, Nathan McCall, and Donna Hill are scheduled to make presentations.

Award recipients include Cornell West, Randall Robinson, and Sonia Sanchez.
